Tuition rates are as follows:

6 weeks - 12 months $275 weekly

1 year - 2 years $275 weekly

3 years- 5 years $250 weekly

    Infants 1:4 Toddler 1:8 Preschool 1:8
  • What training or education do the teachers have?
    All required training per Child Care Licensing and Child Development Associate is preferred, but not required.
  • Is additional training provided to the staff? If so, how often?
    Monthly, Annually and On-Going as necessary
  • What is the program's approach to discipline?
    Positive redirection and daily encouragement.
  • Is everyone on staff currently certified in first aid/CPR?
    Yes
  • Can you talk to the director of the campus?
    Yes
  • How much does tuition cost?

    Payments are made using the Brightwheel Childcare Software

    We will follow the Waxahachie ISD school calendar

    No
  • Is the environment safe and clean, and are there procedures for keeping things sanitary?
    Yes
  • What are the procedures for changing diapers and potty training?
    Staff will use gloves and use proper handwashing techniques when changing diapers and assisting with potty training. Staff will properly dispose of diapers.
  • Are diaper stations separate from food prep/eating areas?
    Yes
  • How often do children and adults wash their hands?
    Regularly
  • Are toys sanitized after use?
    Yes
  • Are choking hazards within reach of young children and babies?
    No

  • Is the sleep environment safe for infants?
    Yes, we follow the established guideline that babies/infants should sleep on their back in a crib with no fluffy bedding, blankets, stuffed animals, or pillows.
  • Do you post pictures on social media?
    Yes, with parental consent
  • Does YaYa's Yuniversity offer transportation?
    Not currently
  • What does the campus do when children are sick or injured?
    Staff will remove the scholar from the classroom if feasible and notify their parent to pick up the scholar. Parents have 1 hour to pick their scholar up from campus.
  • What are the criteria for a child to come back after being sick?
    Parents must bring a doctor’s excuse if the scholar has been out 5 days or more, or the child may return when they have been symptom free for at least 24 hours.
  • What is the procedure for administering medication?
    We must have signed permission before administering any medication. Parents must sign in medication every time. Medication must be in the original container, clearly stating your scholar’s name, prescribed dosage, and date brought. Medicine is administered at 11:00am and 3:00pm ONLY!
  • What is YaYa's Yuniversity's immunization policy?
    YaYa’s Yuniveristy will follow the State of Texas requirements for immunizations. Scholars cannot attend without the proper immunizations.
  • What procedures do they use to protect children with food or environmental allergies?
    Parents must bring a doctor’s note confirming the allergies. Staff will make the necessary accommodation.
  • Do you provide a refrigerator to store breastmilk?
    Yes
  • Can breastfeeding mothers visit during the day to nurse their baby?
    Yes, it is a state requirement for childcare centers.
  • Do they provide children with meals? Or are parents expected to bring meals each day?
    YaYa’s Yuniversity provides meals
  • What kinds of foods do you serve the children?
    Nutritional Foods
  • What time is breakfast, lunch, and snack?
    Breakfast served from 8:30am-9:00am Lunch served from 12:00pm-12:30pm Snack served from 3:00pm-3:30pm
  • What is the pick-up visitation policy during operating hours?
    Parents may pick up anytime throughout the day.
  • Are only approved visitors able to visit and pick up children?
    Yes
